Design Idea: Kitchen & Island

Cambridge Cherry in Spice with Madison Maple in Caramel

She always wanted her own island and with HomeCrest, she can have it. Madison in maple with caramel finish and mocha glaze make this functional island a work of art. For added impact, the cherry spice finish and ebony glaze on the Cambridge Cherry kitchen creates a spectacular setting.

  1. Column boxes with spindles, spools and plinth blocks, split or full solid wood turned columns and decorative appliqués are used to give cabinetry an elegant formal look.
  2. To eliminate clutter, a WD2736R diagonal cabinet sits on top of a corner appliance garage modified with a cabinet door for a total height of 54?.
  3. Create a decorative range hood using DRH36 and trim with W4843BB bead board, and face with matching countertop material and acanthus appliqués.
  4. Use WEC30D angled wall cabinets with two-door access on each end for creative additional space.
  5. Trim the bottom of wall cabinets with FB2 furniture base and top off with classic crown and egg & dart molding.
  6. Modify a W2730B wall cabinet to 9? deep and integrate an open shelf area for collectibles. Trim the doors with a pair of acanthus appliqués.
  7. Use glazed brass knobs (L-15), pulls (L-14) and cup pulls (L-13) from the Luxury Collection to tie it all together.
